NEWS ON CURRENT AND UPCOMING "RETIREES"

Maibee will be retiring after raising her new, current litter. She is a beautiful, sweet, extremely friendly, completely housetrained 6 year old, heart certified, tri color female.   Maibee is not a small girl, she weighs about 18 lbs. She is also VERY hard of hearing, but this certainly does NOT affect her quality of life, however, she must live in a home with a fenced yard. Her picture is below. Please let me know if you are interested in adopting her, she will be  available later this year.

Our friend Susan (www.alwayscavaliers.net) has several adult females that will be retiring into pet homes later this year and early next spring. The same conditions for placement apply to her retirees as to ours (spay/dental/fence, etc). Please contact Susan via her website if you are interested in an upcoming retiree.

"Retirees" are not for sale, but their new owner is required to pay for the cost of the mandatory spay/neuter, full dental, and vaccination update, the total cost of which is rarely more than $400. This is NOT refundable if the dog is returned after the 30 day trial period. The new owner's yard MUST be physically fenced (not invisible fencing), and while kids, cats, and other small dogs are suitable playmates for a retired cavalier, large, guard-type dogs and terriers of ANY type are not, and "retirees" are not placed in homes that already have these types of dogs.

Feel free to call for more information about the current and other upcoming retirees. We do keep a waiting list for our retirees, and we are VERY selective about the homes the go to. Please keep in mind that you may have to wait for up to one year for an older retiring dog, depending on his/her show and breeding schedule.

Thanks, hope to hear from you, Karen
